Thakeham Primary Governor Vacancy

Head of Thakeham Primary School, Samantha Norton writes:

An opportunity has arisen for a Co-Opted Governor to join the Governing Body at Thakeham Primary School.   We are a friendly, popular and successful Primary School with strong community links. From September 2017 we expanded to become a Primary School and re-located to a modern, well-resourced and re-furbished building on Rock Road, within the Parish of Thakeham. This has served to support and facilitate the opportunities available to our pupils and staff, enhancing our achievements. These are recognised in our recent ‘Good’ Ofsted report (July 2018) which we are very proud of!

Thakeham is a really special place to learn and grow. We have 4 classes with currently 103 pupils on roll and growing. High quality learning and teaching are at the heart of our school. We nurture and celebrate each child’s individual talents and skills to enable them to be happy, confident and resilient individuals with a passion for learning, inspired to achieve their very best. Through encouraging a strong sense of respect and responsibility, both within our local community and the wider world, we support our children to be co-operative, caring citizens for the future.
