Thakeham Community Events
Thakeham Community Events is a team of local residents who help organise social events in the Parish, primarily at the Village Hall and on the neighbouring playing field. This includes a summer music festival and a Halloween fireworks display each year. They are always looking for help from anyone who can give it, either as a committee member (meeting every 2-3 weeks, usually by zoom) to help shape future events, or as a volunteer at events, helping to set up and pack away, or work on the bar for example. Send them an email if you are interested and be sure to keep an eye out for their upcoming events @ThakehamEvents on Facebook and Instagram.

Storrington Area Help Scheme

CAN YOU HELP? The Scheme is need of people with their own cars who would be willing to drive people to medical appointments.
Drivers DO NOT have to make a regular commitment, mileage allowance (50p/mile) is paid, clean driving licence and comprehensive insurance are essential.

Parish Council Community Working Group

Thakeham Village FC
Thakeham Village FC aims to provide the opportunity to participate in football to as many as possible. The club is currently looking for a First Team Coach, Under 10s Manager, Under 10s Assistant Manager, Under 8s Assistant Manager. If any of these roles interest you, please contact them here.
West Chiltington and Thakeham Cricket Club
The club has a huge colts (kids) section and always need help with coaching and administration plus match day teas for the adult teams. There is girls and boys coaching from school reception class upwards plus men’s and women’s teams to the over 50’s veterans team.
