THAKEHAM PARISH COUNCIL

Applications are now open to the Parish Council’s annual donation fund, which supports local community causes.

The Parish Council’s annual budget includes a fund of £500 to provide small donations to organisations / groups that provide a service or benefit to the residents of the parish.  In recent years applications have tended to be from larger charities whose services do offer benefits to Thakeham residents, e.g. AgeUK and the local Air Ambulance service, but the PC is also open to helping smaller local groups.

To apply for a donation please write to the Clerk at clerk@thakehamparish.co.uk and briefly describe your service and how it benefits the local community.  Requests that meet the criteria of the policy will be considered by the Parish Council at its February 2022 meeting.  There is no set application form; applications just need to be set out out how the donation would directly benefit parish residents (ideally with some existing track record of evidence).  Please see our donations policy for further details.
