Abingworth Phase 3 proposal update

The Neighbourhood Planning Committee agreed ‘no objection’ to the parallel application (DC/19/2267) to shrink the size of the 8 largest houses within the existing consented 25-house scheme, and HDC officers are likely to permit this.

We still expect the developer to continue to seek consent for the 75-unit (DC/19/1707) proposal and understand that Horsham planners are likely to re-consult the Thakeham community during January about the revision of the planning application. We expect this application will be for a similar number of houses, but other details will have changed since September.
